Project Kick-off Meeting

DIPOL project Kick-off meeting took place on 23. April at the UDG, Podgorica. All the formalities and contractual responsibilities regarding the project start are being taken care of. New team members were introduced to the rest of the group as well. We went over the work packages and defined immediate actions and short term plans. Also, all the members of the team were introduced to newly released website for the project.

The meeting was attended by young researchers joining the team and by representatives from the industry (13. jul Plantaže).

Research Day at the University of Donja Gorica

“Digital transformation of the agriculture and food supply chain in Montenegro (DIPOL)”, a scientific-research project sponsored by the Ministry of Science, was presented within the Research Day event, traditionally held on 04.04.2019 at the University of Donja Gorica. Dr Tomo Popović briefly presented the goals of the project as a result of the UDG’s strategic partnership with company “13th July Plantaže” and an IoT innovative company DunavNET from Novi Sad, Serbia. DIPOL project is a continuation of two previous projects in the area of precision agriculture and a smart supply chain, which is aiming a concrete expansion and implementation for end users.
